    Xtra Innings Performance, located in Lyndonville VT, is a Personal Training studio and performance facility where clients and athletes of all ages can come and receive the highest level of personal training available in the N.E.K. and beyond. Certified personal trainers and strength coaches bring years of experience and knowledge to provide you with comprehensive, individualized training programs developed to help you reach your health and fitness goals. XIP trainers also strive to provide each client and athlete with an education in the field of health and fitness so that you are able to make healthy lifestyle choices on your own. We will never claim to work miracles here at XIP, however we will guarantee results to those individuals who are ready to consistently put in the time, and make the necessary lifestyle changes to be better at whatever they do. On June 23rd, XIP will host the second annual Green Mountain Strongman/Woman competition on the Lyndon State College campus. This event is a fundraiser for the Gene McDonough Scholarship fund which supports local future fire fighters, criminal justice, or EMS/Paramedic; as well as the Melissa Jenkins Fund in support of her son Ty, after her recent death. Registration is $50 if you sign up now, registration the day of the event is $60.

Directions to Lyndon State College:
Lyndonville is off Exit 23 on Interstate Highway 91. After exiting the ramp, enter Highway 5 North and take an immediate left on the Back Center Road(just before the Colonnade). Follow road for 1 1/2 miles to top sign. Continue straight for 100 yards then make another left at Lyndon institute onto College Road. Continue one mile up the hill to the college.



Axle Clean and Press for reps (clean each) 60sec
2" axle will be on tires for most classes, axle must start from a dead stop on the ground than cleaned to shoulders, no resting on belt, axle must be then pressed overhead with elbows,hips and knees locked. Feet must be together under control. Chalk, belt, wraps, sleeves all ok. No tacky

Husafell Stone for max distance
Stone/keg must held in front of body, no shouldering. Carry as far as possible, turn every 50 feet. Will be picked up from ground. If stone is dropped, you are done. No time limit. Chalk, sleeves, wraps, belt all ok. No tacky.

2" Axle Deadlift from 16" for reps 60sec
2" axle will be off tires about 16" from ground, weight must come to dead stop on ground, no bounce. Athletes will get a 'down' command. No sumo. Shoulders must be pulled back at the top, hips and knee locked out. Straps, wraps, chalk, belt, sleeves all ok. No tacky, no suits.

Frame Carry 100' turn at 50' 60sec
Frame will be carried 50', set down, repick, carry 50' back towards start. Frame must break the 50' mark and completely cross the 100' mark. Unlimited drops, no sliding the frame. Handles will be about 15" from ground. Chalk, wraps, sleeves, belt all ok. No straps, tacky.

Stone Over Bar for reps 60 sec
Stone must be lifted over bar, dropped (stone will be rolled back to athlete). Belt, tacky, sleeves, chalk all ok. Height of bar is 50” for males, 46” for females.

Both Adrian and Ryan will be coaching youth athletes from middle school-college during the spring and summer months in strength and power sessions here at XIP. We will adapt the sessions to athletes of all levels and abilities as they work to make big gains in strength, power, mobility, and body awareness.  These groups fill fast so get in touch with us asap if you are interested in signing your young athlete up.  Cost is $15/session.


XIP welcomes Jill Rancourt to the team this year as she pursues an internship here at XIP while completing her undergrad in Exercise Science and Pre-Professional Physical Therapy at Lyndon State College.
